What is the difference between Graphene and Ceramic Coatings?
Ceramic and graphene coatings aim to accomplish the same task but with a few key differences. Both coatings last about 3-5 years and protect the sensitive paint on your vehicle from UV rays, surface contaminants, cleaning chemicals, and more, while creating a hydrophobic barrier on the surface.
Ceramic is silicon-based, and graphene is graphite (carbon), which is 200 times harder than steel. Overall, graphene coatings offer better water spot protection and superior surface hardness. This is important in supporting the longevity of the coating. Any time the surface of your paint is rubbed it causes damage, such as when snow rubs your paint all winter or when you accidentally brush against your paint when getting in and out of your vehicle. Even regular maintenance washes take a toll on your coating. Thus, the harder the coating, the longer it will last.
All this being said, ceramic coating is still a great option. But after applying both coatings to multiple vehicles and seeing how they’ve reacted; we recommend graphene coating over ceramic to our clients.

Paint correction and polishing must be done prior to a coating, so they are included in our service. Our protective coating (with polishing and paint correction) packages typically range between $800 – $1,000 for cars and $1,200 – $1,500 for SUVs, Vans, and Trucks.
